Club Book Fall Season Announced
Club Book announces its fall season with nine more authors and fifteen more events. Scheduled at eight library systems throughout the metropolitan, events are free and open to the public. Authors for the fall season include Colson Whitehead, Terry McMillan, Nancy Pearl, Will Weaver, Mike Reiss, Faith Sullivan, Alison McGhee, Swati Avasthi, and Gish Jen.

Club Book brings best-selling and award-winning national and regional authors to library communities throughout the seven-county metropolitan region. This new series, a program of the Metropolitan Library Service Agency and coordinated by the Library Foundation of Hennepin County, launched in April 2010 and will run through June 2011, and hopefully beyond. All events are free and open to the public. From Stillwater to Chanhassen and Minnetonka to St. Paul, Club Book reinvents the book club and establishes libraries across the state as vital, vibrant centers of cultural programming and exchange.
